Alexa, you simply suck.

I used to use alexa as a means to measure artician's traffic. Although I knew it wasn't very accurate it still provided a rank that we could always strive to better, every week or month. Occasionally, some days it would say N/A (not available) for the stats it provided, and I always ignored it and checked back the next day or so, and moved on.

For the last 5-6 days or so, every time I visit alexa it's showing me the status are not available (N/A), and it really started to piss me off because of the fact that there are not stats our rank then drops, not that it matters but I still like to strive towards a better rank. I went to their FAQ's section to find out why this is....

It reads:

Question
Why do my Reach or Page View Traffic Details say N/A?

Answer
The Reach or Page View data on your site's Traffic Detail page will say N/A if no Alexa Toolbar users have visited the site during that time period. The Today" ranking represents the last 24 hour period (midnight to midnight) for which we have data.

My opinion
A complete load of shit. I personally have the alexa toolbar, and I know for a fact that several other users of the site have it as well, plus all the other's who may have it that I don't know about.
